Jeff MacNichols Elected

Jeff MacNichols who was originally elected to the Snoqualmie City Council in 2003, beating incumbent Dick Kirby by 52 votes and ran unopposed and was re-elected in 2007, was once again re-elected to the position in 2011. 

Jeff has previously served as a Mayor Pro-Tem and currently serves as Chair fo the Planning and Parks Committee and am a member of the Finance and Administration Committee. Jeff is also the Council liaison to the Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce. His goals are to support Snoqualmie's local businesses, promote tourism, and attract new businesses to the city. During the city's rapid growth, Jeff has implemented financial practices that ensure long-term prosperity and sustainability.

As a previous chair of the Planning & Parks Council Committee, Jeff's decisions exemplified his ongoing commitment to development that is well-mitigated, meets the highest environmental standards, and preserves Snoqualmie's small-town character. He is an advocate for the city's police and fire departments and strongly support the Corps 205 project and future flood reduction efforts.

Ken Harmell Published

Ken Harmell was recently asked to share his experience as a criminal defense trial attorney, specifically as it related to Drug Crimes. His techniques can be found in Thomson Reuter's new book, Defense Strategies for Drug Crimes: Leading Lawyers on Adapting to Recent Trends Working with Law Enforcement and Preparing a Solid Defense. The chapter authored by Mr. Harmell is entitled "Modern Drug Crimes: Unique Strategies for a Changing Environment." The book is part of Aspadore's Inside the Minds series.
