Andrea is a graduate of the University of Washington, where she was listed for multiple quarters on the dean’s list, and graduated with a double major in Political Science and Society and Justice.

Andrea went to law school with the goal of becoming a criminal defense attorney. She attended Seattle University School of Law, graduating at the top of her class in 1996. During law school, Andrea interned with the Federal Public Defender, and was selected by United States Federal District Court Judge William Dwyer to serve as his Judicial Extern. She joined the firm while in law school and began representing accused persons in Washington State courts prior to passing the bar exam.

After receiving her Juris Doctor, cum laude , Andrea became an associate attorney at the firm. Within a few years, she made partner and now has over twelve years of experience emphasizing criminal defense. Andrea is known as an excellent litigator with over 50 jury trials at both the misdemeanor and felony levels. She has also used her superior writing skills and knowledge of criminal law to develop a successful motions and appeals practice. Andrea is the first choice of many of the area’s municipalities where counsel is sought to prosecute appeals on behalf of indigent defendants. She has been successful in obtaining appellate reversals on a significant number of cases in both King and Pierce Counties.
